Get together with your friends, have everyone grab a controller, and get ready to battle your enemies as you take their bodies as your own.

Prototype 1: One Controller and One Keyboard Mouse Player are hard coded into the system. Let it be known that keyboard and mouse is only included because some testers may not have any controllers, the final release will be all controller inputs. Due to the lack of enemy AI currently not being implemented, each room just starts with a body in it so that testers can easily test recapitation, that won't be a problem during prototype 2 since AI will be implemented before then.

Prototype 2: You can now play with up to 4 controllers as it will automatically spawn in the appropriate amount of players. Each player is currently set to a Wizard. There will automatically be a temporary player added that is controlled by the Keyboard, though they will not exist in the final game. Enemies, assets, and a level exit are now implemented. Currently, all characters are exactly the same as far as play is concerned, only differing in appearances.

Prototype 3: Many bug fixes, including but not limited to:

  • Room transitions require all enemies to be killed first => Players cannot simply walk directly to the exit, they need to fight for it
  • Decapitation no longer breaks the game 25% of the time => Decapitation is now a fully functional system without any bugs
  • Player heads now count as players for room transitions => You don't need a body to count for a room transition
  • Many more small fixes / improvements that likely won't be noticed yet

Final Product: Includes audio for appropriate actions as well as animations for character movements.
